Before using Brooklands Interiors, the client’s biggest challenge was finding designers and a kitchen manufacturer that could achieve the right contemporary look to marry with their existing minimal space and bi-fold doors. Visits to high-street retailers were stressful and unsuccessful as they could not supply the correct installation — their style was not sleek or high-end enough, and off-the-shelf standard units added visual clutter.

As Warendorf champions minimal contemporary style, they are the ideal supplier for the Campbell’s sleek modern preferences. As frequent hosts of stylish social gatherings, a dedicated drinks servery was essential for them; but to honour a streamlined look, it could only be visible when entertaining.
We created a built-in drinks dresser, seamlessly hidden from sight during everyday kitchen use by pocket doors, which open and slide away into the sides of the unit, so a beautifully organised and functional space appears when it’s time for drinks. It’s a feature that always impresses guests.
The drinks dresser includes a useful worktop for making beverages, allowing the rest of the kitchen to operate as usual and keeping the island open. A clutter-free island means more guests can gather around, enhancing the social atmosphere, which the clients are proud of. And after listening to their desires for the space, we were able to reconfigure the plan to accommodate a larger kitchen island than they thought possible.
Other design elements that enhanced their new kitchen’s neat, contemporary and premium style include the built-in ovens, finished with a streamlined stainless steel trim exclusive to Warendorf; furniture cabinetry that extends up to the ceiling for a seamless, monolithic look, and increases storage capacity and eliminates dust-collecting gaps; a neutral colour palette that coordinates with the building’s exterior and internal Crittall doors.
