Bespoke wardrobes, designed around what you own

We design and install fitted wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes and dressing rooms from our showroom on Oyster Lane in Byfleet. Every one is made to measure, from the height of the rails to the depth of the drawers, so it fits the room and the way you get ready in the morning.

We have been designing interiors for more than fourteen years. You work with one designer from the first measurements to installation, choosing door finishes, glass, handles and lighting together so the wardrobe sits naturally with the rest of the room.

Luxury fitted wardrobes typically cost £5,000 to £10,000 or more, and walk-in wardrobes start at around £5,000. There is a fuller breakdown further down this page.

How much does a bespoke wardrobe cost?

Every wardrobe is quoted individually, but these are the ranges most of our Surrey projects fall into, supplied and installed. The size of the run or room, the door finish and how much detail goes inside make the biggest difference.

How a wardrobe project works

From the first consultation to the finished installation usually takes between 6 and 10 weeks, depending on the size of the project and the finishes you choose.

Planning a bespoke walk-in wardrobe
  1. A conversation in the showroom

Bring photos and rough measurements of the room. We talk through what you need to store, how you like to get ready, the look you are after and your budget. There is no charge and no obligation.

  2. Measure and design

We measure the room, then draw the layout, doors and interior, down to rail heights, drawer sizes and lighting, for you to go through with us.

  3. Quote and choosing the finishes

You get an itemised quote. We settle the doors, handles, interior finishes and lighting with you, then place the order and book the installation.

  4. Installation and aftercare

Our installation team fits everything to your walls and ceiling. If anything needs adjusting once you are using it, you call the same people.

Luxury wardrobes: common questions

Something we have not covered? Call us on 01932 222 200 and ask for a designer.

How much do luxury fitted wardrobes cost?

Luxury fitted wardrobes with premium finishes and bespoke interiors typically cost £5,000 to £10,000 or more, supplied and installed. The length of the run, the door finish and how much drawer, shoe and lighting detail goes inside make the biggest difference.

Built-in wardrobe costs explained

How much does a walk-in wardrobe cost?

A compact one-wall walk-in typically costs £5,000 to £8,000, a two-wall or L-shaped room £8,000 to £14,000, and a full dressing room with integrated lighting £12,000 to £20,000 or more. A large dressing room with an island and glass doors can reach £18,000 to £30,000 or more.

Walk-in wardrobe sizes and costs

How long does a bespoke wardrobe take?

From the first consultation to the finished installation usually takes between 6 and 10 weeks, depending on the size of the project and the finishes you choose.

Should I choose a walk-in or a fitted wardrobe?

Start with the room rather than the look. The smallest walk-in that still works is about 1,200mm wide and 2,000mm deep. Below that, a fitted wardrobe, which needs a 600mm-deep run along one wall, is usually the better choice, and a generous fitted run is almost always better than a walk-in you have to shuffle through.

Walk-in wardrobe ideas and sizes

Should wardrobes reach the ceiling?

Usually, yes. Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes use the full height of the room for seasonal storage, look built in rather than added, and leave no gap on top to gather dust.

What can go inside a bespoke wardrobe?

Everything is planned around what you own: double and long hanging at the right heights, pull-out trouser racks, shoe walls, velvet-lined drawers for jewellery and watches, integrated laundry baskets, soft-close drawers and sensor lighting.

Do you design and install the wardrobes?

Yes. We design and install fitted and walk-in wardrobes from our showroom in Byfleet. Your designer measures the room and plans the layout and interior with you, and our installation team fits it, so you have one point of contact throughout.

Which areas do you cover?

Our showroom is in Byfleet and we design and install wardrobes across Surrey, including Byfleet, West Byfleet, Weybridge, Cobham, Oxshott, Esher, Walton-on-Thames, Woking, Guildford, Kingston upon Thames.
